Patient appointments are generally available from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday, depending on each provider’s own schedule. Our office visits are by appointment only, and we make every effort to stay on time.
Please bring a referral from your family physician (if required by your plan) and a copy of your insurance card with you. We bill most insurance carriers for covered services, as long as proof of insurance is provided at the time of service. Co-payments are expected at the time of service. Payment for services is the responsibility of the patient or guardian of the patient. We accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard and CareCredit.
We participate with the following insurance companies: Aetna, BCBS of NC (except Blue Local/Blue Home Plans), Humana, Cigna, Medcost, Medicare, United Healthcare, and Tricare. (Disclaimer: Although this list is accurate at the time of posting, our participation status may have changed. Please confirm our status when making your appointment. If you do not see your insurance plan, then give us a call at our office, as there are too many to list individually).
Any procedures considered to be cosmetic are not covered by insurance, and therefore payment is expected at the time of service. We will not file any cosmetic service to insurance. We will notify you if we believe a planned procedure is cosmetic and will discuss costs prior to the procedure.
Our call center will notify you with a reminder call at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you are unable to keep your appointment, this will allow us to see urgent patients in a responsible manner. There is a fee for late cancellations and no shows.
Please feel free to contact our office during normal business hours if you have questions regarding your condition, medication or treatment. If it is necessary to speak with a physician, we will return your call as soon as possible. For life threatening emergencies, dial 911 immediately. If there is an urgent concern after hours that cannot wait until regular hours, please call the office at 336-774-8636 and leave a message. The provider on call will return your call.
Prescription refills are handled by our staff during normal business hours (Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.). Please have your pharmacy contact our office for refills on your prescriptions. Prescriptions will be called into your pharmacy within 24 hours.
For your convenience you have the option to print and complete the necessary forms and bring them with you to our office. Please arrive 15 minutes early to complete the registration process.
